Make Sorting Folders Above Files a Per-Directory Option

Pretty simple, by default sorting folders above files in Nemo (to my knowledge) only applies globally. It cannot be set for only a single folder, such as ~/Downloads.
The use case for this would probably be sorting folders above files, but not in ~/Downloads, or in the Trash.

@artofit Nemo 6.6.3, (Fedora Cinnamon 44), I can't see any option for this anywhere. How did you get it working?

Edit>Preferences>Behaviour
Behaviour, unchecked "ignore per folder view preferences"

Select your folder
Then go to Edit>Preferences>Views
Under default view you have the params and choose what you want
close the Preferences window

click another folder and click back on the folder you just changed, you'll see the difference.
under Manjaro KDE

This doesn't seem to work for sorting directories above files specifically, at least for me.

The use case for this would likely be, as I mentioned, allowing files to be sorted above folders e.g. in ~/Downloads or in the Trash, while still allowing directories above files on other parts of the filesystem. Directories above files is normally quite nice, but is annoying imo when it takes priority over recency sort and clogs the top with a bunch of really old folders.

If you have checked option the "Sort folders before files" and no sorting appears, then file a bug with you're detailled specific environnment, but I rather think you didn't read or tried the options.

Downloads, you may want to order by dates
other folders order them by names.

Sort folders before files does set the sort order, but it does so globally. I cannot set it for only e.g. ~/Downloads.
