When a cluster exports resources through ResourceSlices, are those resources treated as reserved (similar to Kubernetes requests/limits, meaning the capacity is guaranteed and unavailable to the origin cluster even if not used), or are they treated in a different way?

Hi @marcodc-tim, let me explain you how the resourceslice work. THe resource slice is used by a consumer cluster to request resources to another cluster. The resourceslice status is fulfilled by the provider cluster resourceslice controller. The default implementation of it takes the Spec content and move it inside the Status without any checks. What are you asking for can be implemented with a custom controller, http://github.com/liqotech/resource-slice-class-controller-template here we have an example
