X Server on DIPSY-40NX #448

Description

@hatonthecat

Hi, I read the review of running Linux on the HyperRAM 32MB chip on the DIPSY-40NX and think it's a very efficient use of memory. I agree moving rootfs to SD and using cpio.gz helps save space, but I am curious if there would be an Xserver possible with the newer kernel (such as FLTK/FLWM), or whether to use a smaller old kernel. This might be impractical, but I tested XWoaf (Xwindow on a floppy) with kernel 2.2 from 2005-era on 9MB of RAM. https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/af5caa9d-d52d-41db-8ef6-a8120a109bea

More OS tests: https://github.com/hatonthecat/Pokey-Linux#xwoaf-13-in-9mb-ram using fbvnc+SSH instead of LiteUART could also work: https://github.com/aligrudi/fbvnc
