FIle Sizes that exceed Block_size - validation issue?

Hi,

I've seem to run into an issue where a file grows past the size of what I have in block_size (4096 * 64) - while I can see that LFS is distributing pages around the device, and I can read data up to the equivalent of 64, 4096 pages - as soon as I add the 65 page of data I get an endless loop or validation failures comin from lfs_bd_cmp.

There seems to be some tie to the number that I am unable to find in the code that is preventing it from adding another block past that limit?

What size is your flash memory?

LFS performs copy on write so you would need (65 * 4096 * 2 + space allocated for meta data) in order to add the new page of data. Quick math says that you need at least a 1M flash chip in order for your write to work.

This sounds like it might be related to #620, which was merged recently. Do you still see this issue on the most recent version of littlefs?
