Very new to Elixir side of things, what is elixirkit?

I love the Ux for livebook, coming from other languages' ecosystem, it looks like Phoenix webserver is getting some love on porting web <-> native bindings quite well. Looking around at .exs files, it seems the magic is behind elixirkit. Is elixirkit an incubated project specifically for livebook, or are there some other web <-> native binding?

elixirkit is something that allows communication between Elixir and the native parts (not the web part per-se). We plan to extract it out once it becomes more stable.

Would it be possible to get some more context on elixirkit? Eg. a summary what your requirements / goals / constraints are with elixirkit?

I'm working on mobile elixir runtime and would like to know if there are ways to share efforts.
I'm basically building on the shoulders of elixir-desktop giants and trying to streamline the process of building the packages and integrating into mobile development workflows.

My current idea is to somehow expose pubsub to eg. swift via something like https://github.com/cesarferreira/SwiftEventBus.

I would like to float the idea of exposing PubSub to native apps instead of a single socket and "manual" events. Not 100% sure if it makes sense regarding booting, timing, ... Maybe a dedicated socket is required indeed to manage the initialization of all participants before pubsub style becomes feasible.

Currently Running 26.2.5.6, 1.18.2 on iOS based on elixir-desktop project. I'm working on newer versions and compilation targets but it's a bit of bumpy road so far, mostly because of xcode, otp compilation, ... Also supporting nifs has room for improvements
