Show week number in date input field

It would be cool if we could show the week number of the selected date in the input field. We used Pikaday previously and with some magic we had it look like this:

If there's another way of making this without having to modify any Flux-components I'm more than happy to do that too, but at the moment I'm not entirely sure what the best approach is :)
