I was about to ask the same "feature", sometimes you just don't need and don't want a backdrop in the modal. |

I'm using the flyout sidebar in my project and it's great, but it would be more useful in my scenario if it didn't block interaction with the page underneath. My use case is popping a sidebar over top of a fullscreen map, where ideally I'd still be able to pan/zoom around the map off to the side.
Digging into the existing component it seems like it's built on top of a native modal (and therefore :backdrop) so it makes total sense why it works the way it does. I tried to add some custom styles for the
