Closeable Tab

Hey,
I'd like to make tabs to be closeable when click on active tab again.
How could I manage this?

question is what should the user see when the tab is closed? Should it be hidden and nothing visible at all, go back to previous tab?
In this feature request I added some example javascript for switching tabs #1966
It is pretty easy to add a toggleTab function that hides the current tabpanel when the tab was clicked and active. However, if you want to swtich back to previous active tab, you would need to add some logic to keep track of that.

yes it should be hidden, like toggled up accordion. i just want to close up the tab which is opened and clicked on the name of it.

I'm not convinced this would be a good UI - tabs generally always have one active tab. Don't think that is expected functionality for tabs to be completely toggle.
