dps values

Hi.
If I remember correctly, dps in ICC with full 264/277 itemlevel gear was around 12-18k dps. Both me and my bots can't reach those numbers - not by a long shot.
Is that just the way it is on AC - or am I doing something wrong/did I get really bad at this?

I did a test where i just autogeared bots to 277/284 (This is with non optimal setups, they just had a bunch of random ilvl 277/284 items, but nothing close to the best in slot builds they could make).

With more minmaxing / going for better gear setups where you actually get tier set bonusses etc on classes that need it, focus on hitting the caps that the classes need etc, i can see bots performing better.

Wow 😮 Nothing close to that. My fully 264 (not 277 though) geared survival hunter does like 5-6k dps on Patchwork. On fights with more movement it drops to maybe 3k. I‘ll gear some guys to the teeth and will test it again. In comparison: This was how the values looked on Patchwerk 25 for me.

This was my first ever Naxxramas 25 with this group, no one autogeared so the average itemlevel was +- 180-200

As mentioned before, autogear equips random gear, but even with that bots should do at least 10k dps overall. After coming back to raiding ICC (about 2 months of pause) there were many updates to core and mod and, I did see massive improvement in bot dps.

I managed to get 25k peak dps and around 15-18k overall on dbs fight (10 man normal) 25 man could be even better peak. To achieve that I manually added BIS gear and did /p maintenance command so that bots automatically equip gems and enchants (not bis but better than nothing), and there is /p nc +worldbuff (buff for elixirs and food).
I was also running max icc raid buff 30%.

Really important for any raid is that after you setup/change talents you need to run ResetBotAI commands which will help bot figure out that they are not heal/dps/tank anymore but spec that you changed them to be. Use unbot or multi bot addons, they all the commands you need.

Thanks for all the input. I never used random bots due to issues with persistence. I made 3 accounts with 25 alts total and specced each of them manually. I‘ll do a test run after work with a team of random bots and will report back. Maybe my recount addon is bugged 😝 Message ID: ***@***.***>

You can compare real player with bots with specific boss/phase/gear etc using warcraftlogs.
For example Dohtt pasted screen from patchwerk (wotlk phase 1) where average ilvl was 190.
I always using 50th percentile option to find average player base :)
For me most bots playing (on patchwerk etc) like average human player. But if you find something unusal please report

warcraft logs isn't 100% accurate as classic wotlk had some changes applied to help with certain classes. For example, https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=204385/glyph-of-reckoning did not exist in original wotlk.

Okay, I made a pretty long test today.
First, I geared 3 DPS bots to the teeth (BIS gear, BIS enchants, BIS gemstones) and tested them against Anub Rekhan (25p; 1st Skada data), a training dummy (2nd data spread) and Patchwork (25p; p) together with my "normal" raid setup.

Just fyi:
Memnosyne is an elemental shaman with 273,73 itemlevel.
Floydlina is a demonlogy warlock with 272,33 itemlevel.
Nirala is a marksman hunter with 272,46 itemlevel.
Besides that Jowy has a itemlevel of 242,53, Randgridr of 212,8, Shosuke even 204!
Both "low level" dps are somewhat competitive to a hardcore hunter. In the fight against Patchwork Nirala used some skills, still autoshot is the most important damage source - against Anub she didn't use anything besides aimed and steady shot - no chimera, no serpent sting.

There seems to be serious issues with marksman rotation. I think she wanted to start all over again when she was thrown into the air by Anub - still, this is lacking. Floydlina and Memnosyne are behaving a little better, but against Patchwork I'd expect at least 15k dps.

Did a test in ICC, there Nirala does around 11.5k DPS - still a bit low, but better than before.

Im never played hunter :(
I have logs from example from ignis. Doesnt look pretty bad.
Can someone check his rotation?
You can take data using nc +debug to check their decisions.
I have such logs but currently focusing on something different and dont know what is important in this rotation.

Yeah, the hunter is a player character equipped with GM to the absolute maximum. At least in ICC he was competitive with the other 2 geared characters. I don‘t know what happened in Naxxramas tbh. What is NC +debug? Or I‘ll put it another way: how exactly do I check his rotation? What I find interesting in your data: volley is an aoe spell - marksman can do much better against Ignis using his single target rotation. "/w botname nc +debug" starts bot whisper bot to master his every decision. You can check that he is doing rotation in correct way.
For now i only checked that hunter have only one rotation for every class which maybe its main problem
