Fooocus lags / HW usage?

Hello, its my first time getting into this, so I'm sorry for stupid questions,

I tried the AMD guide while installing, it still says while opening i have 1024MB VRAM, guess its just a bug since it uses more, but is it normal that my computer laggs, freezes while generating a image? If so, can I somehow limit VRAM / RAM usage, since it kinda maxes out my RAM..
I already tried limiting it but failed, since I don't know much about these things cmd python etc..
Sometimes I get this error RuntimeError: Could not allocate tensor with 52428800 bytes. There is not enough GPU video memory available!
Is there a fix?
On Stable Diffusion it doesnt lag but the pictures don't look that good
If there is some tutorial I would like to learn about it more thanks in advance

RX 9070 Steel Legend 16GB
R5 7500F
32GB RAM
W 11
