I have an i7-3770 CPU, 32GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB. it takes a about 5 minutes to even produce 1 image and the max GPU usage is around 30%, it bounces from 0% - 30% no idea why it doesn't use more or why its so slow when it could use more and be faster, if that's how it works? |

This might surprise you but your computer is not good, it's low tier compared to others, especially your CPU. Nvidia GTX 1XXX are only officially supported with 8GB, 6GB your PC has are marked as uncertain leaning towards slow performance and negligible performance gains compared to CPU. Please also check https://github.com/lllyasviel/Fooocus/blob/main/troubleshoot.md and the readme for more information. |

performance" how should i fix this or go about it to get it to work like

It takes 3:49 to make one image, I think my drive is HDD not SSD but I have
a spare SSD I could probably load all of fooocus to it the run it from
there if it works like that? Also for the most part I think I’ll be fine
with where it’s at because I found this text to image generator that online
and free then I use fooocus to fix the mistakes. Also thank you for all
your help, tbh I thought my computer was a good one now I know it’s not
that great but just way better than my old computer lol

a more modern pc and graphics card i'm afraid .
can you share any generation times , for example how long does it take to
generate a 1024x1024 image ( with no loras running ) at 30 steps using any
sdxl checkpoint

it might be old house but its still working , i've seen people with older hardware take over 30 mins to generate images , so now you can be happy knowing your a lot faster than them lol. and as mashbit said that HDD is definitely slowing your whole system down , you can pick up a cheap SSD online for a few dollars and that would give a nice boost to the whole pc not just foocus. Also when generating images try to make sure nothing else is running , like watching a video on YouTube for example, allow foocus to have as much processing power as possible |
