How To Use Both Image Prompt & InPaint?

I am attempting to use both Image Prompt and In Paint features together but it is seemingly only taking one of them into account at a time. These are the steps I'm taking. Assume if it is not mentioned then it is left at default. Using the UI:

1. Put my image prompts into the Image Prompt section
2. Generate the mask with inverse selected
3. Click Generate (have tried both with text prompt and without)
4. The In Paint works fine by itself and the Image Prompt works fine by itself. I can't get the Image Prompt to respect the mask

The result seems to only enforce whatever tab I have open.

Can anyone advise me on what I could be doing wrong if this is possible?
