Errors, help needed!

Hello!

I am completely new to this whole "Fooocus" system but eager to figure it all out as soon as I finally get it to work :(

On my old computer I was able to use it with no problem… I recently got a complete new tower and made sure the person who helped me, knew I also wanted to create AI images with me. He assured me that this system would be able to handle it all.

However as soon as I had installed the program/site however one wishes to call it, it opened up as normally… then I typed in a few prompts and clicked on generate. First thing I saw was the loading icon and then nothing…

When I check the cmd screen, I noticed 2 errors.. I think.

Compile with TORCH_USE_CUDA_DSA to enable device-side assertions.

I tried to somehow fix it myself but it seems I am at a complete loss :( Is there someone who could maybe help me through this? I was so excited to get started, just to stumble on this :(

Try reinstalling torch
If you have the portable version, you need to open the console (cmd) in the python_embedded folder and update torch

.\python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pip
.\python.exe -m pip install --upgrade torch torchvision torchaudio --extra-index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu128

I am sorry but I need a little more help here. I found the python_embedded" folder, clicked on the python one that opens up like a cmd window. I get a syntax error when I try copy and paste it in that window.

My advice says to open the console in the python_embedded folder, not on the desktop
The path should be something like this, I don't know where exactly you have the folder with Fooocus

There is another discussion on this same topic, should work with all RTX5000 series cards. I am using it now with my 16GB RTX5060Ti. #3862 (comment)
