I came across a numerical issue of Te around the inner strike point evolving to 0.03 eV, which is the lower limit of Te allowed. This seems to occur several times in my experience of doing DIII-D modeling with cases like inner flat target plate (inner strike point also on the shelf). And it occurs only in the case when the inner divertor is quite attached, like Te ~20-30 at ISP. When you reach such condition and let it evolve, then Te --->
0.03 and Ti grows to > ~ 100 eV. Then it cannot go further.
This might be relevant to the boundary condition of using recycm = ~ -0.9 to force neutral parallel velocity similar to ion parallel velocity at the plate in such conditions.
