Can you make it so it is easy to install a text to speech engine of some sort? I want to use this as a chatbot people can talk to.

I suggest you map the openAI compatible endpoint in tools like Open webui. Open webui has kokoroo built in as tts.
Else you can hook a small tts like pockettts 0.6b using the endpoint it exposes so lm studio links to openwebui then to pockestudio ( the best one I reccomend as it is light and runs on cpu)
