  • change title to american spelling
  • make sure terms are defined in their first mention e.g. quasi-identifier ; perhaps use call out boxes / glossary if necessary.
  • define terms if it is possible that they are not known to some learners outside of a specific field (e.g. variable scale level sounds like a very psychological research term - I do not know what it means)
  • i'd suggest to use the term data dictionary throughout to be consistent with our other material, and say "data dictionary (also known as 'codebook')" on it's first occurence
  • maybe refer to FAIR data sharing for e.g. tiered access with open metadata and instructions and conditions to access the data -> but it shouldn't be seen as a cope out...
  • explicitely mention whether the technique of anonymisation should be mentioned in the public report / manuscript for the sake of trasnparency of methods or if disclosing it leads to the risk of revert engineering the technique and de-anonymizing the data
