Opening the desired page in the Background with Middle-Click

With Firefox: Opening the desired page in the background with middle-click leads to unexpected results:

A page gets opened in the background, but it is translated.
And the current google-page gets replaced by the un-translated page.

Is there a way to change this behavior?

I seem unable to reproduce this behavior on Firefox 137.0.2 with advanced tracking and uBO disabled. I also tried disabling "Open Result in New Tab" in Google Search preferences and still unable to reproduce this issue. Middle-clicking on me open the original, untranslated page. Without uBO, I got redirected to some Google link tracking before being served the original page.

Right now Google does not try to translate anything for me. So ATM I can not confirm it. ... As soon as it happens again, I will post it here.

Ok, Google again tries to fool around with me. The translations are back.

And concerning the Addon: Now a middle-click opens the page in a new tab in the background as desired: untranslated. ... But the currently active page (i.e. the Google search) also opens the untranslated target.

PS: And the search-result itself is also translated. But thats just a minor thing for me.

The first screenshot is before the middle-click. The second after the middle-click on the violet link.
(Strangely the title of the tab in the background is only in English for a few seconds and then turns to German. Contrary to what I wrote above.)

Funny. What is the link if you copy/paste it from the Google Search result?

Also, I don't think so, but did you turn on Firefox automatic local translation?

Right-click on the link and select Copy Link, copies this:
https://translate.google.com/translate?u=https://versus.com/en/asrock-b550m-pro4/clear-cmos&hl=de&sl=en&tl=de&client=rq

And I have browser.translations.enable set to false in about:config.

Do you have the same problem? You shouldn't see this type of URL (with the translate.google.com domain name as proxy) anymore.

I can not check atm because I can not find a translated search result atm (with disabled add-on). I'll be back here, as soon as I do find one to test with.
