Building a Decentralized Backend in JavaScript #230

@onedebos

Description

@onedebos

In this session, attendees will be introduced to the decentralized web and learn how blockchains enable a fully decentralized backend, free from centralized cloud providers. Participants will explore the structure of decentralized applications (dApps) and learn to build their first dApp using familiar JavaScript tools and libraries with the JStz(jstz.io) runtime.

Through a hands-on example, we will create a simple to-do list application backed by a decentralized backend and deploy it on the JStz testnet, while covering essential Web3 concepts such as transactions, gas fees, wallets, and account management. By the end of the session, attendees will have practical experience building a dApp with a decentralized backend and the foundation to continue exploring the decentralized web.
