What’s the project about?
Neilcott Construction are undertaking the works for Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s Farm Lane development scheme in Fulham.
Works involve the demolition of the former children’s centre at 11 Farm Lane, to make way for the development. The site has been
underutilised and provides an opportunity for the delivery of new homes for the local community.
The re-development will:
• Deliver 31 high quality, energy efficient new homes on this under-used site
• Provide affordable housing for local people (50% of the new homes will be affordable)
• Provide high-quality landscaping which encourages biodiversity
• Be built to high energy efficiency, Passivhaus Classic Standard
What’s been happening?
The concrete frame has now been completed, marking a key milestone in the project. Works are progressing both externally and
internally. Externally, façade works are underway, with SFS framing and window installation in progress on the ground and first
floors. Internally, the apartment fit-out has commenced, with party walls being erected on the ground and first floors to define
individual units.

Welcome to our project newsletter about the works taking place at 11 Farm Lane. We will continue to publish
regular newsletters throughout the project to provide progress updates & inform you of movements in & around
the construction site.
What’s happening next?
External Works: Façade works are progressing, with SFS
framing and window installation now underway on levels 2
and 3. Brickwork to the external elevations is scheduled to
commence this week.
Internal Works: Fit-out activities continue within the building.
Screeding and mechanical & electrical installations are now
starting, alongside ongoing dry lining works to form the
apartment layouts across the floors.
Roof Works: Waterproofing to the third and fourth floor roofs
has been completed. Works to the main roof are due to be
finalised over the coming weeks.
Programme Milestone: We have now completed 15
consecutive weeks of weekend working. While our permitted
working hours allow us to continue working at weekends, we
currently have no immediate plans to do so. If weekend working
is to resume, we will ensure residents are given advance notice.
