You can already use custom prompt templating to chat with folders and tags. Are you an alpha tester? |

It would be incredibly helpful if we could directly include the contents of specific folders as context—for example, by clicking the “Add Context” button and simply allowing the user to select from a dropdown list that includes both notes and folders (along with the respective notes contained in each). This would make managing and leveraging context much more efficient.
I’m also not sure if I’m properly using the PDF functionalities. When I try to add a PDF from my vault as context, Copilot says it can’t access the contents. Ideally, I’d love to be able to add one or multiple PDFs to the context and automatically “chat with” or otherwise engage with their content without needing to create a new “working” note, extract text, or jump through extra hoops. Apologies if this functionality is already available and I’m just missing something.
Lastly, my biggest feature request is for an “APPLY” button to quickly apply edits, diffs, or other changes that Copilot suggests directly to the content of any page, right from the sidebar chat. Similar to the above, I’m not sure if this already exists and I’m just overlooking it. The Smart Composer plugin is fantastic for seamless editing, but I often find myself trying to combine its capabilities with those of Copilot (e.g., for web browsing, YouTube, or vault chats). However, having to manually insert edits at the cursor or rely on copy-pasting can be a bit tedious—especially when editing or appending to an existing page. A single “Apply” button to handle this more efficiently would be a game-changer.
