Not able to get results for a query without being case sensitive of letters

Not able to get results for: from:cnn instead of from:CNN (which gives results).

Environment

• Operating system: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

Steps to reproduce

1. Search for both query mentioned above.

Expected behaviour

Query search should not be case sensitive.

Actual behaviour

It is case sensitive.

@simsausaurabh does this bug still exits ? because i didnt face any case sensitive search problem,
