The Algorithms and Problem Solving competence group is re-booting. The next meeting will take place on the 12th of May, make sure to join in and crack the latest challenging problem!
A weekend or two ago Hampus decided to finally implement something he had been thinking of for a while, a search engine for anything text-related that does not require manually annotated data. The result ended up good enough (and improvements are on their way!).
Simplify the deployment of models on the cloud. Using Torcheserve it's a breeze to create a low-latency web server with ready-to-use modules for the most common classifiers. Basically what you do is download model to cluster, then run torchserve with the model as a param and you're good to go!
Chris has been working all night to get the second part of his series out! Jokes aside, this post includes some great stuff that are good to know they exist and has a focus on MS Teams. Such as how do I create a laser-pointer? Highlight? Get your own wonderful background image? Chris got you covered!
'Transfer files over wifi from your computer to your mobile device by scanning a QR code without leaving the terminal'. AWESOME! I think this is a really cool concept which I'd like to expand upon myself someday. Really cool random concept :D
Very interesting learning for the ones who enjoy to actually know what is happening under the hood!
Someone took their sweet time to aggregate 'Today I Learned' (TIL) in a README which is pretty damn awesome. You might not read this file but I really liked the idea of doing this myself and created my own repository on GitHub to aggregate my own TILs. Having a knowledge bank is very handy!
