`/folder_ref ` or `/folder_reference ` BMO Chatbot to answer with the reference of the notes in a certain folder

Maybe the feature already exists, but I can't seem to find it. Open WebUI can do this (Dave had recently shown how to do this), but it's quite "clunky", because I need to update its Knowledge, every time I added something new.

My usecase is to have a setting on BMO Chatbot that can be turned on (ala /ref on) to reference a certain folder in my Obsidian database.

/folder_ref ~/WK32_MeetingMinutes

And this would aggregate all the information in different notes, that're in that particular folder, to answer the prompt we give the BMO Chatbot.

Alternatively, we link the BMO Chatbot Profile, to a certain folder in our Obsidian filestructure, and can switch it easily, if needed.

The problem with not using embeddings(Which you don't seem to want) is you need to include all the text in the context. Models have limited context and even within the limits, the price increases as you increase more text, so it's not advisable to use folders of notes if you're not using embeddings.

If you want to search through a lot of text, other plugins for Obisidian which use embedding are the only option and it has the disadvtange of taking a lot of time to process the context to generate embeddings
