About adding linked to other "app stores"

There has been requests to add linked to several app stores which I am not opposed to listing linked on at all, the only issue currently is that they request me to remove the automatic update feature that currently works via GitHub.

That is not a big issue either, other than needing to list the app on all app stores as well as figuring out how to deploy to all of these, without having a big maintenance overhead as well as being blocked by rolling out new versions quickly, such as by awaiting PR reviews or other manual review processes that would delay a release.

Don't add it everywhere, adding it in windows app store, winget and scoop is fine
but brew
and snapcraft
and aur isn't necessary
flatpack will handle it

I'd rather add it everywhere as that is something that makes linked special, shipping for any platform possible.

The only thing I'd like to avoid or have to reconsider, is the part of rolling out updates and managing new releases. Currently its a single tag and every platform gets the new version almost instantly. Using appstores it would require much more time and would have less flexibility.

Wouldn't sending updates take time?
