Problem:
Currently, a user must have the Supervisor or Advisor role in order to be assigned as a Group Admin. This restriction makes it difficult to delegate group management tasks to non-academic staff, as they must be added as an Advisor and are therefore visible to students under "suggested topics".
Proposed Improvement:
Introduce an Organizational (or similar) role that can be granted Group Admin permissions without requiring Supervisor or Advisor status.
Rationale:
Several chairs have expressed the need to assign group management responsibilities to secretarial staff or other organizational personnel. These users often handle administrative tasks but should not be classified as Supervisors or Advisors.
