Dual Input Functions: Spatial and Temporal Dependence #6

Hi Lu,

thanks for the great work.

In the examples solved using MIONet, both input functions typically depend on the same spatial variable (e.g., D(x) and u0(x)). In these cases, the same number of input points, m, is used to construct the branch network—for instance, [m, 300, 300, 300] in the "ADVD" problem.

I’m wondering whether it is possible to solve a problem where the two input functions depend on different variables—one on time (e.g., uBC(t)) and the other on space (e.g., u0(x)). In such a scenario, is it still necessary to use the same value of, m, for generating the branch network? I would greatly appreciate it if you could share an example of this type of setup, if one has been previously implemented.

thank you,
Saeed
