Problem

After a lot of experience, I have found that mods that are in the view of players naturally get more attention than mods that are buried inside the thousands of other mods, this makes it harder for new mods, even if good, to get attention. Most of the attention for some mods comes purely from the website and during updates and the like.

I believe that the website does things in a better way than the client because

  1. It shows recently updated mods.
  2. Recent reviews.
  3. Most popuar mod.
  4. New mods.
  5. Featured mods.
  6. You can sort by tag.

Solutions

As a solution to this issue. I suggest the following, or pieces of the following, depending on what would be achievable... This would ofc also require ui changes.

  1. Add tag sorting.
  2. Recently updated
    3.Newest mods
  3. Trending mods
  4. Alphabetical (not sure about this one, just thought I'd put it in anyway, I don't personally have a usecase for mods sorted alphabetically)
  5. Random / shuffle

Alternatives

Can't think of any. There's not really a way to get around this in-game matter, not even advertising would do.
