Ok, I see now. I was expecting color to be a different kind of marker with colored background. But the other tabs are for further styling of the markers in the first tab. It seems, if I want a non-animated marker in a different color I have to go through all tabs for every instance, no preset or history to reuse. If that is the kind of thing to be configured in the sidebar controls: these still never show up. |

Yes, for now, each instance needs to be configured individually. There isn’t a sidebar setting for this since it’s part of the RichText format rather than a global control. The idea of presets is a good one and definitely something worth exploring, but it’s not on the immediate roadmap. It’s something we may look into down the line. Description
I can only use the first tab in marker dialog (style), but the other two are greyed out. Also, no controls appear in the sidebar when using the marker (or infotip).
Using WordPress 6.8.3 and Gutenberg Editor
Steps to Reproduce
Install the plugin, mark text, choose marker in the menu, switch tabs to color or animation
Expected Behaviour
tabs color and animation are active, sidebar controls appear
