The entire map is not showing.

It's literally black, for all 3 maps.

How can i solve this issue? i currently have 3 users on my switch so i have 3 different save files.

How do i make sure its only for my main file. Do i need to make a different savefile using JKSV copying the existing data?

I looked everywhere but i couldn't find someone with the same issue.

Hey!
I assume you mean the 3 layer background images won’t show, and not your 3 save files.
I don’t quite understand what “map3” and “map4” are, because the images used are included in the .nro file.
First, open the log file and see if it says anything about not being able to load textures.
Secondly, I have made a few small revisions since you downloaded the app. I recommend you update, even though it might not necessarily solve the issue.

Are you running any sys modules? Also try starting the app with “title override” to give it more memory to see if it still doesn’t work

About the issue with your save files: I don’t quite understand your issue. The app should prompt you for a user when you start the app, where you can chose your profile with your main save file?

I thought the issue was caused by me having used multiple savefiles on a single user. Thats might not be the case.

When doing a title override i still have the issue. I used this before and when performing a title override you can select a user profile before the launch of hbmenu.

The stats (like the number of shrines, koroks, etc) are all correct. Its just the map that does not show.

for the sysmodules i have amiigo that i haven't used yet. thats it.

i tried updating, deleting totk-unexplored and redownloading it but nothing that did the trick.

Interesting, it sound very odd. I’m a bit lost on what the problem could be, but someone recently had a similar issue with botw unexplored so it might be related🤔
But if it displays the correct stats then it’s not an issue with your save file at least.

Can you see the objects, like koroks, even if the background won’t load? Could you also post the contents of the log.txt file if possible

sorry for not responding for a couple days, work and life things got in the way. The log.txt is weirdly enough empty.. i dont see any icons. nothing. also when i open the Qr code on my phone, everything is black.

Okay, thank you for taking your time to look!
I might know what the issue is, but I haven’t gotten around to test it yet. A new switch is update was released a few weeks ago and the library for building switch apps has been updated to support the new version, but my app is built with an older version of it. So my guess is the new firmware update broke the app and I need to recompile it.

Don’t know when I will do it (life gets in the way like for myself as well), but will do as soon as possible.
