Automatic switching issue

Describe the bug
On Fedora 43 with KDE Plasma 6.5.4 when enabling auto switching between Breeze Light and Breeze Dark to follow time, kde-material-you-colors doesn't follow the sync

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to either the config file or the "Dark Mode" section of the plasmoid
2. Config file : set plasma_follows_scheme to true; same for pywal_follows_scheme. Plasmoid : enable follow color scheme for both plasma and pywal
3. Set the theme in KDE Configuration GUI to Breeze (Authomatic)

Expected behavior
The theme should be changing from Breeze (Light) to Breeze (Dark) and kde-material-you-colors should follow this switch to set it's color either in light or dark mode to set either Breeze (MaterialYouDark) or Breeze (MaterialYouLight). This goes in the other way too.

Hi, automatic detection is done only the first time that the script is executed, after that automatic detection follows the material you dark/light color schemes and ignores any others.

KDE developers have been working on allowing to save the existing theme as a new global theme MR. Until then you will need to create a new global theme yourself or automate the switching with a third party tool like Koi

No problem, the feature has been merged for Plasma 6.6 🎉

I think it could also be a good idea to bundle a pair of global themes that just set the color scheme and leave everything else as default breeze

So, Plasma 6.6 is out, but i cant figure out how to apply follow color scheme. I created two global themes with light and dark colors, but when im in light theme and change wallpaper, colorscheme returns to dark anyway.

Yep that's a bug, I am busy with other stuff right now but will have a look in the next few weeks

Setting the dark mode for Plasma set to Disabled and setitng the light/dark themes properly (as in, the appropiate light or dark colorscheme), makes it work right.
