Howdy

Add an optional mode that displays all videos from a selected folder in a visual grid similar to Waypaper.
This would allow users to browse and preview videos without manually adding each one but select one or multiple as it is already.

Waypaper-style grid would improve UX for large video collections...
Add a toggle “Manual List” vs “Folder View”
Display videos in a GridView with filename or thumbnail.
Optional hover preview or click-to-play.

I think those are good ideas, for the "Folder" mode it could work like this:

1. Load videos from a folder, in this mode we will need to store the videos that are disabled and the ones with custom parameters
2. Add a toggle to switch between the two modes
3. The "Manual list" should be preserved when switching between modes

GridView will be more complex as we will need to somehow create the video previews, there is also a bug in Qt Multimedia where the video player has memory leaks so that will need to be fixed, otherwise we'll need a custom plugin akin to what the official image wallpaper plugin has, at the moment my current c++ skills hold me back in this.

Well i cant help at scripts at all i am new to even doing any scripts...its not a rush you can take your time with it.
Understand it and reading it is one thing but writing it is another whole world.
Cant be made as KDE has the images listed some sort with their back end ?
