Description
I use tactics training a lot. There are a few things that I feel could improve usability a bit.
- I usually divide my tactics into themes and save them. Right now, whenever I want to change tatics, I have to navigate a very long drop-down menu list. At the moment, I can assign a shortcut to a menu item such as "13. Overloaded" in the screenshot below. However, this would require me to assign a shortcut to individual themes and remember all of them. It would be much better if I could assign a shortcut to the subfolder "Tactics Workbook".
- The second issue is when creating training for tactics. At the moment, it is possible to specify whether to skip the first move. This works well if all the puzzles have a first move that can be skipped. However, I have some puzzle files where in some the first move is skipped and in others the first move is not skipped. Maybe you could also add a feature that detects this automatically. For example, if the number of moves in the puzzle pgn is even, then the first move should be skipped, otherwise don't skip the first move.
