In transport/multitracer.py ln 45, the default for --max-footprint-length is set to 14D , which I know from experience is very easy to miss when doing simulations with footprints that are longer.
I think it is more intuative to have the default set to the length of the footprints, or at least write out a logmessage so that users are aware of this.
