Method for installing from git(hub)?

Lit can build packages from git repositories, but cannot install them:

• lit make github://luvit/luvit is successful
• lit install github://luvit/luvit fails with "No such package: github://luvit/luvit"

Is this intentional? Does there need to be some sort of package.lua configuration to allow this? Is it a missing feature from lit?

I don't think it was intentional. It would be good to add the feature.
