Can this be used to visualize the *formation* of a black hole?

I have seen a few visualizations of colliding black holes, and even fewer relativistically rendered images like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIiwGa2l9X4.

I'm wondering whether this code can be used to relativistically render the formation of a black hole, with big masses (not black holes themselves) falling towards each other until they reach black hole density and the event horizon forms. Have you tried this?
