Some icons are cropped

The first icon at right is displayed only with the upper part and the label of the third is also truncated.
I have this problem for a long time, but this is with the latest version.

Mageia Cauldron (will be Mageia 10)
Tested in X/Openbox and Wayland/niri

Hm , last icon on the right here too, afaik the long name on one line "xscreensaver settings" is truncated can be seen only with it afaik.
Edit: I can reproduce it only with breeze icon theme and "xscreensaver" as last item.

I tried with LXQt them "System" and "KDE-Plasma", with same result.

There was a related bug that was fixed a long time ago.

I can't reproduce it here, but I don't have xscreensaver. It's unlikely that xscreensaver can be important. So, if someone gives me a reliable way of reproducing it, I could investigate.

This report is about the icon. The text eliding is how it should be, depending on the font, font size, and translation. I can't see a "cropped icon" in your screenshot.

I took a look at the qcategorizedview code recently, and gosh is it convoluted - I can only imagine how bad KDE really is under-the-hood. This was partially fixed and has since gone away for me, but there may be more edge cases...

Icons were fine yes, but text eliding happens only on the last icon and stops immediately when resized, so I suspected the same issue.

You recognized the fingerprint correctly ;) Give me a way of reproducing (the icon issue), and most probably I could fix it.

The only way I can indicate is an installation of Mageia (9 or Cauldron), for example in a virtual machine.
The most convenient would be through net installation.

As I said, the fixed bug was in old versions of lxqt-config. And installing a distro isn't an option.

I don't know what the first icon would be (still xscreensaver something), but it's related to xscreensaver only (and it's icon?) and breeze (which doesn't have an icon for it, same happens for elementary icons which does not have an icon too).
