Feature request: Search within the current column or selection

For large spreadsheets, I believe it would be useful to be able to restrict the search to the current column. I can see two ways of going around this:

1. Create another command, or a flag on the current one, to restrict it to the current column; or
2. Create a command for selecting columns, and change the search behavior to happen only within the current selection (1+ columns, 1+ rows, or whatever the user selected).
