English Fallbacks not working for Translations

I tried changing to another theme that is available for selection and the error is with all themes. I don't know how others have it. I also tried making my own theme in the settings but I couldn't get it to work.
Somewhere in the application the texts are readable but somewhere not at all. I made some screenshots.

Ahh, I know the issue. You have a language other than English set. For some reason the English fallback isn't working. It should fallback and show english strings for untranslated strings but it's not working for some reason. I will take a look as you why.

Ahh, znám problém. Máte jiný jazyk než anglickou sadu. Z nějakého důvodu nefunguje anglický záložní. Měl by se zálohovat a zobrazovat anglické řetězce pro nepřeložené řetězce, ale z nějakého důvodu nefunguje. Podívám se jako ty proč.

Broken fallbacks are usually a symptom of the translation files drifting out of sync with the source language, once keys go missing, every fallback path gets exercised and the weak ones show.

I build i1n (i1n.ai), a CLI that keeps locales in sync (AI-translates missing keys, i1n check fails CI when a language drifts). Might save you from chasing these one report at a time. Free tier, no card. Either way, running any parity check on the locale files should surface every string behind this issue at once.
