Description
🎯 Requested Enhancements
1️⃣ Integrate Microsoft OneDrive as a File Storage Option
Enable users to connect their Microsoft 365 / OneDrive account to Jamku so that:
- Files uploaded in Jamku are stored directly in OneDrive
- Jamku stores only metadata + link, not the actual file
- Teams can collaborate on documents in real time using Office Online
This mirrors how many modern practice‑management tools integrate with Google Drive, Dropbox, and SharePoint.
2️⃣ Add File Upload Links at To‑Do and Document Levels
Currently, files can only be uploaded under the Files tab.
The request is to add:
✔ A file‑upload link/button against each To‑Do item
✔ A file‑upload link/button against each Document item
This allows contextual file attachment—exactly where the work is happening.
🔄 How it should behave:
- When a file is uploaded from a To‑Do or Document row,
→ It is stored in OneDrive
→ A link is automatically created under the Files tab
→ The file is also visible under the respective To‑Do/Document row
This ensures single‑source storage + multi‑location visibility.
📁 3️⃣ Unified File View Under the Files Tab
Even though files are uploaded from To‑Do or Document rows, the Files tab should remain the central repository.
The Files tab should show:
- File name
- Uploaded from (To‑Do / Document / Task level)
- OneDrive link
- Version history (if available via OneDrive API)
- Uploaded by
- Timestamp
This preserves Jamku’s audit‑friendly structure while leveraging OneDrive’s storage and collaboration capabilities.
🛠 4️⃣ Optional Enhancements (Future‑Ready)
🔹 Auto‑create a OneDrive folder per Task
Example path:
/Jamku/ClientName/TaskName/
🔹 Support for OneDrive Shared Libraries (SharePoint)
Useful for firms using Microsoft Teams or SharePoint document libraries.
🔹 Real‑time co‑authoring
Open Word/Excel/PPT files directly in Office Online from Jamku.
