Many a times, refund is adjusted for the previous assessment year outstanding demand. In this case, the details of adjustment is available on TIN NSDL Refund Status App. To capture this information this feature was introduced on the software. It is a toggle feature on the software that is available in the configuration.
This feature no longer serves the purpose as NSDL has stopped sharing Refund Status after Assessment Year 2022-23
