Would be useful for scripting. wlr-foreign-toplevel-management-unstable-v1 can be used to get the output corresponding to a focused application, but empty workspaces won't work.
I use a Gamescope wrapper that queries the mode of the focused display on launch, and currently I'm forced to fall back to querying xrandr's primary display.
