Idea: guild members rank and statistics

Currently, the guild member overview shows a lot of information about guild members, but this information isn't presented in the best way. My idea is to create another tab (or add more customization options to the existing one) to display all data about guild members in a way that might be more useful for guild leaders.

I'd like to see how many fights/negotiations a player has completed in the last GBG, QI, or GEX in one view. I know all this data is available in other places in FOE Helper, but having it in a single overview would give us a better understanding of each member's contribution to the guild.

Also, many guilds specify some minimum requirements for members, like 200/500/1000 fights in a GBG season, or 48/64 encounters solved in GEX, and similar for QI. It would be nice to have the option to set these limits somewhere in the settings and have players below the limits marked.

Another related idea is a tool to measure member efficiency. For example, one player might be very active in GBG but not in QI or GEX. I’m thinking about something like the building efficiency tool in FOE Helper, where we could set expected numbers for GBG, QI, and GEX and allow sorting members by their efficiency.

It seems like a big feature, but it could be useful for many guild leaders to get a better overview of guild members.

I am opposed to "measuring" people by their "efficiency".

The tab needs a bit of work in general, because there are no QI stats yet. Not sure when we'll be able to tackle this.

I think many guild leaders will be interested in all these suggested features.

A quick search on GitHub shows a couple of scripts used to analyze guild treasury or member activity, so if functionality like this could end up in FoE-Helper it would be of great value to the leadership community.

(and yes, i recently started one of those myself, because these exact features were missing in both the main game and all available plugins)

You could make a pull request then.
We are only two people (and both guild leaders ourselves) actively working on this and always appreciate others contributions.
However, the user base is quite big and some tend to follow numbers blindly which is why I wouldn’t want to add a kinda total score to a person.

I understand that a guild member is more than just a number, but this would be a tool for leaders only.
You should expect them to use an overview like this as a tool in their toolbox, and not blindly follow numbers.
If you "hide" it in a separate window that you need to enable manually in the settings, that might help a bit perhaps?

But if you say you don't want a ranking system like that in this application, which part are you accepting pull requests on?
Would be a shame if someone made it, just for the PR to get denied.

Even though I'm not a guild leader, the guild-member-efficiency sounds like a really helpful tool. Especially then in QI you could assign greater-level people to be fighters and leave the donations to the newbies so they aren't constantly losing units.
