Summary

Add Inbox navigation item to the primary mobile sidebar to streamline access to notifications. Currently, mobile users are forced to route through the Command Search menu to locate the Inbox, introducing unnecessary friction to a frequent workflow. Reintroducing a direct link in the sidebar menu or adding a dedicated notification icon will significantly enhance mobile usability and reduce navigation time.

Why should this be worked on?

Currently, accessing the Inbox on the mobile web view is cumbersome. Previously, the Inbox was easily accessible via the sidebar navigation. However, in the current mobile UI, the "Inbox" item is missing from the sidebar menu.

To access the Inbox now, we have to:

  1. Open the Command/Search menu.
  2. Search for "Go to inbox" or find it in the command list.

This adds unnecessary friction and clicks for a high-frequency action (checking notifications/inbox).

Using the "Search commands..." feature works, but it is not an intuitive workflow for mobile navigation when trying to quickly check updates.
