Enhancement: Sign Up Link not visible from anywhere other than Log In Page

Description

The only way to get to 'sign up' link is by clicking on Log In in the menu header to get to the Log In Page. Thinking about new user arriving on Home, it would be good to have 'Log In or Sign Up' on the homepage visible somewhere as a call to action, or even better a separate sign up link visible from all pages as per usual web convention?

It's not critical, as the user can sign up from Log In, and I'm sure would work that out eventually. But there may be a risk of less adventurous users giving up before even using the product.

Something like https://www.bbc.co.uk/news doesn't have separate links to both sign up and log in (which they call sign in, unfortunately!). https://www.reddit.com similar. Have you got examples of sites that always display both (presumably until a user is logged in).

I've done a bit of digging and found some egs (but appreciate I was hasty/inaccurate in describing as 'usual web convention'!) however an even better option has become apparent - Plenty of websites having 'Account' as a menu option, with 'log in' and 'create an account/sign up' as dropdowns from there. Just something to think about for future versions!

I like the idea in general - tricky with the Account button already existing, but:

• A different name could be chosen
• We could merge all these into one menu e.g. Account contains Log in, Sign up, and/or Bookings

but none of the buttons are drop-downs currently, so it'd be a more fundamental change to the UI (that would need approval etc etc.)
