Back door needs magnetic lock

The door currently has a key fob system (yay Jesse!) but could do with a beefier security system. Either a magnetic lock or a motorized deadbolt would do.

i'd like to explore a motorized deadbolt. I really like the lockitron https://lockitron.com. in my mind theres a large circular gear with a deadbolt shaped slot in the middle and on the outside is a worm geared motor.

thing is, i'm waiting for the 3d printer to work again. it worked for all of two days.
