Diff last-turn is always empty

In cmux, when I configure diff mode to use the last-turn option in the right pane, I expect to see changes based on the most recent conversation with the agent. However, the diff is consistently empty. I'm wondering if I'm missing something or if there's a specific configuration tweak required to ensure the diff is displayed correctly.
