with some style file.

The one icon-offset specification is
"icon-offset": [0, -1],
but other

        ]

Is the style file incorrect, or is it the maplibre-gl problem?

You might need to use litetal expression, otherwise this is treated as an operation instead of an array.

This is a style from site on mapbox-gl-js. It works there.
