Can we contribute a new dotted line style to the MapLibre Native

Currently, we are using an old customized Mapbox map, we developed a new dotted line, the dot will not become bigger and split into two but keep the dot as circle, and now we are considering migrating our map to the MapLibre, but this new dotted line is kind of a blocker, so want to know can contribute this feature to MapLibre as a new option for LineLayer/Polyline?

The two types of dotted lines are all based on the line-dasharray property, but only the first video can be implemented by the current MapLibre, the second one is implemented by us

I think the first video is of line-dash array if I needed to guess.
If line-dash array can solve this and there's a way to improve the implementation of it in the case of "circles" I would advise to go this route instead of adding a new spec property. Can this be a possible solution to this issue?

Yes, its line-dasharray, but the current MapLibre can only support first video behaviour, second is what we need and what we implemented, it's a big change inside MapLibre especially to C++ code, cannot be implemented outside

So there's no need to change the spec in order to support this?
If so, this discussion might be redundant and all what's needed is to improve the implementation of dash-array for the case of "circles" that can be defined using the current spec, but should behave better when animating the change for different zoom levels, right?
