Theme conversion utility

Greetings!
Recently I have been working on a converter for themes; taking a JSON style from e.g. Maputnik and converting and it to a XML rendertheme. Currently it has the status of being a prototype, it doesn't cover all cases and some elements are left out for now. But, my estimate is that it roughly covers maybe 80%. "osm-bright", which has been used a base source for creating it, looks pretty good, if you ask me ...
Would it be of interest to add this potential feature to the repository?
It does need some additional work, but it would be great to get more people to take a look at it and hopefully it can be improved and put to use.

Is there open source code available somewhere so users can test it?

Note that we develop 2 map engines with a slightly different render theme structure:

• Mapsforge render theme documentation

• VTM (OpenGL) render theme documentation

Hello again,
I have some ideas of improving the converter. And making the code better, of course ... just curious; is it of any interest to make it part of the VTM and Mapsforge as a module or such?

Mapsforge and VTM use several different theme rules, so their map themes are not exactly the same.
And only VTM can read the Mapsforge themes.

As this is an application and maintained by you, it can be hosted in your repository.

Ok .. I'll go ahead and work on the code and keep in my repo. Have you had any chance to take a look at it? All feedback is appreciated. I do have some plans for major improvemnets, but I'd also like to take the opinions of others into consideration when doing so.
