Hello, it<s me again. I still cant compile this project, I thought I was okay a few days ago, but I still get those errors now. sorry.

Hi, did you modify something in the project?
It looks like the board configuration is not included. If you use your own the defines for I2S are required to let the firmware know which pins are used to send the I2S data to your dac.
Take a look for a reference: https://github.com/marcel-licence/ML_SynthTools/blob/main/src/boards/board_esp32_doit.h

In addition it looks like something with the I2S library might be broken. Did you get different options? The compiler might inform you if there are multiple libraries existing.

Do you use the latest version of the esp32 board?

it is defined in https://github.com/marcel-licence/esp32_fm_synth/blob/main/esp32_fm_synth.ino line 263 ff

Fixing the missing defines may fix other issues too.

Hello,
no, i wouldn't even know how to do that... it's the same code... the only thing is that i'm using a freshly wiped and cleaned Mac osx... (had issues not related to this so i decided to backup and wipe the sh**&* away and restart from clean base)

that's odd the "Midi_SyncRecvd" part was commented out!?!

i Have no clue why i would have done that, as i do not understand the code... this is weird. I'll comment it out and see...

What I did is I installed a completely new folder using git clone --recursive....
i did not change anything concerning 12s at all
I just made sure config.h was setup to use esp32 A1S audio kitand thats it. it's the same board on which i previously have sucessfully installed your basic synth project.

I still have all the same libraries that i had when building the basic synth so in theory it should just work.

i really do not understand what is happening, if you have any suggestions for me i'd be glad to try them.
